Nutrition – it is actually pretty simple, to lose weight, you have to eat less calories than your body needs. The food you eat and the drinks you drink together contain 100% of all calories that you consume. Some drinks have more calories than others and the same goes for food. The size of the food is not an indication of the amount of calories it has – small foods like a chocolate bar can have significantly more calories than large food like a whole bag of carrots.

When you eat more calories than your body can use, your body will store these calories as fat. Pop and other sugary drinks contain a lot of calories – cut down on these to see a dramatic reduction on calorie intake and a meaningful reduction in body fat.

Exercise – Regular physical activity is very beneficial to our health. This is important for losing weight and maintaining good health. Here are some activities that can help you burn calories:

1. You could add 10 minutes per day to your regular workout routine.
2. Challenge yourself.
3. Taking stairs instead of the elevator
4. Park further away to your destination.
5. Do more household chores.
6. Go for a walk with your pets or visit the park with your kids.
7. Exercise at home while watching TV
